It's really quite odd, and fun.

Whilst listening to a fairly jumpy piece of music, I pictured myself in a fight, using my martial arts to their maximum.

All of a sudden, I realised my heart was pounding, and I was actually showing all the physiological signs of being in a fight.

A fascinating thing, the human mind....

Yeah, once had a semi-lucid dream when I either had my head chopped off or my neck hit hard, and when I woke up my neck started aching within a couple of minutes

I had a dream in which my entire right arm was slowly burnt down to the bone and parts of the rest of my body were barbecued. Supposedly, you can't feel pain in dreams, say the psychologists - bollocks, says Dave. It fricking *hurt*!
I had another one in which I was falling into a bottomless pit....
I had another one in which I was half-buried alive in spiders with more crawling down my throat...
You get the idea. I'd very happily trade my tendency toward nightmares for a sound and dreamless sleep.
