If you have the flu, try this: Take a really hot shower with no medication to lower your fever before hand. Then lie on your bed with your head and torso hanging comepletely upside down to the floor. It's an experience. If I am responding too late to provide with this useful info, please store it away until your next bout with "Illness X"
After watching my sensei (10th don jujitsu), i have come to believe that the only difference between jujitsu and aikido is pain. Professor Cates is the best jujitsu teacher going on THIS side of the road. I just had the most juvenile urge. i think I will submit to it. "My martial arts mentor could beat up YOUR martial arts mentor!!!" Honestly though...aikido has its roots in jujitsu. Jujitsu has a lot less finesse and delicacy than aikido. It's really just the 'beat you down and make you cry' art. And because net handles are like Russian names, I have to make sure...quotheraven.com, right?

As an aside, I prefer Aikido to Jujitsu, but then I have one of the best Aikido instructors going living just down the road :)
