Oyster woes

Did you know that an Oyster card can just fail?

Yeah. Mine did, at London Bridge Station.

Was able to get replacement thanks to registering appropriately, but still, not a fun start to the day.

i know someone who had an early one of them barlcays £10 no pin cards, in the same wallet as an oystercard, every time he touched in it transfered money off the oyster onto the barclaycard, (i think the card may have had the capacity to be an oyster as well but as he had one didnt choose to activate that)
