That's happened to me three times. On the second time I thought I had properly lost it and called the number to be sent a new one. It turned up about two days afterwards though.

The most recent time was when I put it in my pocket along with the house keys. When I went to unlock the door it must have fallen out onto the doorstep without me knowing it. Luckly Raks noticed it next morning before anyone else did!

Been there, done that. I lost one a week after it was renewed -a week!- so had to order a new one. Again. Typically, as soon as my old card was cancelled I found it. Still had to wait another week for my new one to arrive though. *facedesk*

Wow, I have never done this. Perhaps there are advantages to being paranoid and anal about possessions. Although I have been through the whole mucking about getting a new one from HSBC, but they apparently are notorious for that.

I lost my old savings account card many years ago and got paranoid about it as a result.
