For the benefit of those on my "Mike brings a posse" plan, including any who want to join in at the last minute.

The current plan is to meet at the Head of Steam pub at Euston Station for around 8.30-9pm. Then eventually we'll bus onwards to the club, meeting a few others who are wearing inappropriate boots and thus going almost straight there to avoid ouchy-pain-foot-death.

Really looking forward to getting back to SC, and catching up with all those I've missed seeing for ages.

Edit: As kindly pointed out by [livejournal.com profile] colonel_maxim, the Head of Steam is now apparently called the Doric Arch.

Perhaps to avoid confusion, it might be worth noting that the Head of Steam is now called the Doric Arch (although in virtually all other ways, it has not changed at all.)

Ah the Winchester that takes me back :)

Are you coming to SC tomorrow? It would be nice to finally meet.

Does anyone know if the landlord changed when the pub changed it's name last?

He chucked me out of the HOS for blowing my nose too loudly in the summer - I was suffering from horrendous hayfever at the time & swore I wouldnt go back even though I really liked the place. (and its beer)

Given that I'm crashing at Mike's in order to do so, yes, planning to. And yes, it would. You bringing Dave?

I don't know when it was ever actually called the Winchester, certainly not in the last 9 years- I thought that was a Sean-of-the-Deadism.
