Back to school...

As of Monday, I'll be employed again, on a temporary basis, at my mother's school, working in admin (although I gather they're badly in need of IT support, so I'll have to see if I can wrangle that too). Going in on Monday to discuss full details- like actual pay and stuff, but it's a start at least.

Note for matgb: You still good to come and visit? It means you'll have to occupy yourself during the day (although I gather you were planning to anyway), but I can give you the spare key so you can come and go as you please.

Congratulations; I'm so glad to hear that! It's about time something had some good news for you! Even if it's minmum wage (which it probably won't be if it's admin - even basic filing usually starts at £5.50 an hour), it's still some money and also some extra experience.

Rarh. Paid work is good. Getting the IT job and a CRB is better. So go for both, that'd be good.

Oh, and yes, boss signed my holiday form, so week off is full on, and while I do plan to be busy, y'know what I'm like, so it'll be good.

Only thing I've really got to figure out is whether to drive (and bring my computer) or take a bus/train, and not bring the thing.

Will have to work out costs I guess. Cool.
