Well, got back from the Cam National in the early hours of the monring (with many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] cleosilver for the lift and putting up with a carload of nutty roleplayers). Had a great time, playing my Mage and Vampire characters.

Sadly, it didn't take long for things to go rapidly downhill once I got back to my flat, on several counts, so I've already lost the happy buzz, which is a shame.

Anyway, on a partially-related note, I'm thinking of trying to sell my car to get a month or two more rent money, but I'm not certain what the best way of going about this would be, so any tips? It's a pain, but I'd rather have a flat and no car, than the other way round, especially since I can't afford to MOT it at the moment.

hello! good to see you at the weekend, hope it was fun!
I have plague so am ill in bed, ooops! :)
I think the easiest way to sell a car is to put it in that auto trader magazine or something? I think there are websites that can help you value your car too. I have never bought one, so I am not sure where they come from apart from random garages, but am not sure if selling it to a garage is be best way, you don't want a dodgy dealer to not give you enough money for it!
Or ebay, perhaps? :)
