I want to go see the Sisters of Mercy on the 2nd of May. But by then I should be in trainng on weekday evenings, and thus wouldn't be able to go. Plus, I'm rapidly running out of time to book tickets...
For £20, plus booking fee and postage (total £26.60) you can buy them on line here: http://www.seetickets.com/meanfiddler/price.asp?filler1=mfiddler&code=178153
If it were just work, I'd book the day off, or whatever. But as it'll be part of the training course that will lead me to finally have some decent and relevant qualifications to break back into the IT market, I'm not sure if I dare risk missing even one session.
Hmm, I'll sleep on it and see what I think tomorrow.
One night off wont kill you sweetie - in fact it might do you some good in terms of focus. If you haven't already started the training tell them when you start that you already have a prior commitment that night and that it would be extremely difficult to cancel, and work your arse off in the meantime and make sure that you get details of everything you would miss at the time and make it up without being asked.
Incidentally, I think the tickets are slightly cheaper at Stargreen - I'll let you know when I book mine :)
