After today's Mage game with the usual suspects, plus new addition [livejournal.com profile] guido_was_taken, here are the resulting quotes...

Lucius (Upon introduction of [livejournal.com profile] guido_was_taken's new character): Why is there an American?

Professor Smith (Upon someone asking for a sensible explaination): "I've been told I make sense, but I don't know what's going on"

[livejournal.com profile] weaselbitch: Have I been beaten up by tramps yet?

[livejournal.com profile] lokean: I'm extremely in touch with my inner fuzzy moppet

Skank (desrcibing [livejournal.com profile] lokean's character): Little old, probably wise, but currently ridiculous sweeping Zen master.

Skank: I'm denying the existence of this whole "we want a fortress of darkness" conversation.

Professor Smith: It's what magic's for; Primium sporks

Skank: She's just re-magified the whole Clan Tremere. These things happen.

*slight bow from [livejournal.com profile] lokean's Akashic* [livejournal.com profile] guido_was_taken Translation: Bring it, bitch

[livejournal.com profile] lokean (about his character): I'm not an ontological pacifist. I'm just lazy.

Skank: On encountering the impossible, just assume Molly.

It depends on purpose and duration of trip, and what in particular you'd like suggestions on.

He'll be in London for four full days. He is staying in the Generator hostel. He wants to know how much subway and bus transportation will run him. He also wants to know if there are any particularly good eats and treats that are less touristy. Are there any good clubs?
You know... tourist stuff. :-D

Right. Transport is easy. Find out what zones he wants to travel in, and buy a 1 day travelcard for each day. Most of central London is Zone 1-2, which is cheaper than a Zone 1-4 travelcard. I live in zone 4, and a travelcard out that far will cost £5.40. This will cover you for train, underground and bus travel within the specified zones.

Eats and treats depend on what he wants- for example, I know a quite nice Japanese restaurant. Clubs depend on what days he'll be there for. I can only give info on goth/alternative club nights, as I have little or no interest in the rest. As for tourist stuff, I'm not entirely sure, as I did all my touristy things in London when I was about 8, and haven't bothered since, although I gather the Tower of London is always a good bet.
