Naming

Okay, I thought I might ask some more creative types for a little assistance.

Okay, in one of the roleplaying game worlds I'm in, one of my characters is in the process of setting up a, well, covert ops group- assassination, infiltration, etc.

It's a high fanstasy setting (the character himself is a psionicist).

I'm going to at some point have to give a name to this group, and I'm having trouble coming up with something suitable.

Best idea I've had yet is the Raptors.

Anyone got something better?

Edit: I want the group to be known, but not their originator, so no psionic references please :-)

The Cruxshadows is a cool name. Sounds dark and edgy. No idea what the music's like though.

Sadly, a lot of people who play the game will have heard of them, and thus it will not be suitable.

I like it, but it'll be too obvious that it's one of my character's projects (the number of psionicists i very low. The number of psionicists with the resources and influence to set this up is almost none)

"Assassinations-While-U-Wait" leaves people in absolutely no doubt as to what you'll be doing. It's all very well being covert, but if you're too subtle, nobody's ever going to be able to hire you.

Or how about "The Claw"? THE CLAW!! Ahem.

The Hidden Path? Got a slight reference to Psionics (Path = telepath), kinda an inside joke but not one people'd see unless they really looked. :)
