Well, I've just come back from an interview with a recruitment company- they apparently meet with all the people they're trying to place (and given how attractive the consultant was, I really wasn't complaining :-P). Anyway, it was a "find out what you're like" sort of talk, so I commend her on the complete lack of backing away slowly. Although she didn't argue with my suggested comment to the employer of "this person is clearly insane but will be an asset to your company".

Long and short, she's put me forward for a position at Bloomberg, which involves C++. Hopefully I';ll get that or the one I'm going for tomorrow...
