Gig report and so on...

So, I got dragged out to a local rock night to see my friends band. Based on his description, I wasn't expecting much good, but it was actually not at all bad. Neither was the band that followed them.
The third band, however, deserves a special mention. It was composed of three individuals, whose musical skills were above average. Probably. Their set consisted of 30 minutes of theme playing random stuff on their respective instruments. No structure at all, no relation to each other at all. By the end of the set, I had mooted the possibility of organising a lynch mob, and it was generally thought to be a good idea.
I consider it my solemn duty to warn everyone away from a band called Orthrelm. If you should accidently find yourself at a gig where they are playing, pray you have some form of sound nullification available. Or leave the club for the duration of their set. Believe me, you'll thank me afterwards.
