Okay, over the last week or so, I've actually done stuff, so here is a report on "stuff"...

Last Thursday: Went to Exeter. Found the Circus 2.0. Found [livejournal.com profile] mapp's copies of Transmetropolitan again. Watched Advent Children again. Also finally encountered [livejournal.com profile] freddiefraggles
In the evening, I went to the Cavern to see [livejournal.com profile] dudeulike's band, and hang out for a bit afterwards. Band was good, Cavern sucked. And stank.

Last Friday: Met up with JP, Cat and Joker for brunch at the Real McCoy's. Because Harley's has shut. Dammit. Didn't meet up with [livejournal.com profile] kittenfangs because something came up. Dammit.

Bonus in the form of seeing someone unexpected across the street- smiles and waves were exchanged. Went to see [livejournal.com profile] davidnm for dinner- he cooked lasagna, it was good. Listened to Nightwish, Mitch Benn and Hammerfall. This was also good. Discussed life, the universe, and how people suck. This, too, was good.

In the evening, went to the Hole in the Wall to meet [livejournal.com profile] n0wheregirl. This was very good- had many talks about things- and friendly arguments. The most fun I've had in quite some time, it has to be said. Cheers!

Last Saturday: In the morning, [livejournal.com profile] seth_ra came over, and brought his baby with him. The baby took one look at me and cried. I feel curiously vindicated by this.
In the afternoon was Changeling, which was quite fun- personal highlights include:

  • A jousting tournament on jet bikes. I cheated and poisoned my lance for the first bout. I mean, I could have probably won without it, but, hey, evil?

  • Winning the jousting fair and square (I mean, except for that first round, and hey, I'd been paid to thoroughly beat that particular opponent)

  • Beginning the corruption of the Baroness, who is likely to be hiring me next time I'm there. Mwahaha.

  • Giant Flying Cow 0- Sluagh with runicly-enhanced, poisoned homing rounds for his crossbow 1

Headed back on the train with [livejournal.com profile] portilis and [livejournal.com profile] bouncyinsomniac, then was eventually joined by [livejournal.com profile] matgb and [livejournal.com profile] faeriecween who were crashing over.

Sunday: Headed off to Mage. Lovely curveball thrown at me by [livejournal.com profile] thessalian which should be interesting. Generally fun session (Especially "Squad, defect! Quick march...."). Write up over at [livejournal.com profile] kuo_li eventually.

In the evening, [livejournal.com profile] matgb had had to go to get back for work the next day, so alchohol and drunken babbling with [livejournal.com profile] faeriecween ensued. Was fun.

Monday: Watched Advent Children (V. Good), and Dracula: Dead and Loving It (V.Silly), with [livejournal.com profile] faeriecween. She made scrambled eggs on toast, which was nice. And lent me Thud to read, which was nicer :-).

Tuesday: Met up with new friend, Jinx, in London for random fruit juice, chatting and walks. Was fun.

We now return you to your usual programming...

The Cavern always sucked. The only way to suck more would be for real vamps to hang out there!
Random fruit juice? Ahhh- from the Random Fruit! :-D
Many, many LJ buddies thou hast in real life- where does the electronic end and the real begin...? Or are they bleeding into each other...?! :-| (insert Twilight Zone music)

At least 4 of the people he mentions above set up LJs because he bullied us into it, or we in turn persuaded others. It's all his fault really. That and it's easier to arrange stuff with people via LJ somehow.

Thanks for having us Mike, always good to see you and we had a great time in Camden as usual, just a shame I had to drive back to Devon afterwards.

The Baroness is already corrupt. I mean come on, it's Jen. You're just providing her with more people to be corrupt with.
