In order to help with the acquiring of a job, my parents have agreed to pay for me to go on a course, assuming I can find one that would be of value in getting a job.

I was wondering if any of you can suggest what sort of thing I should be looking at- given that I already have two years experiences as a programmer in PICK BASIC.

Most development jobs around at the moments are SQL Server and .Net, so studying one of those would probably be a good call.

Ah yes, I also considered mentioning Java. But I think there's a bigger demand for .Net programmers at the moment than there are for Java programmers (what with everyone and their dog replacing old VB applications with .Net applications).
