Week 2

Well, things proceed apace- I have a couple of places that look like they might be interesting, and a few of my friends have been very helpful. Including one maniac, who shall remain nameless, who has apparently harassed her fiancee (she's in America, he's in the UK) to try and help me out if I get in touch with him. Cheers!

It's been very reassuring to have so much help of various sorts from my friends.

In other news, I appear to have developed a cold. This sucks.

And it had better be gone by Thursday, when I'm actually going to give this Down Boy thing a shot, and meet glamgothruthy. Which will no doubt be fun, interesting, and mentally scarring for those in the vicinity...:-P

So am I, although I must confess to being mildly nervous, as it occurs to me that, despite being single for, well, as long as I've actually been aware there are other things to be, I've never actually gone to any singles events. Ho hum.
