Sleep is good...

Right then, the usual weekend update here....
On Friday,
matgb turned up, and we went off to Synthetic Culture, which was really good as always, although I spent most of the time I was there talking in the outdoor area. Left fairly early, but was still fun.
Saturday, we decided to go and see Elektra in the afternoon. On the way, I found Season 3 and 4 of Babylon 5 on DVD at half price, so the trip wasn't entirely wasted...
Elektra is very poor. What few action sequences are pretty limited, the acting is dire, and the film is never really sure what it wants to be, but manages to not get it right anyway. Anyway, after some pizza,
matgb headed back to Devon, and all was quiet chez moi once again.
For the first time in ages, I actually had a quiet Sunday in. This primarily involved watching some of the B5 commentaries on DVD, and playing lots of EVE. Good times, good times...
And now, back to work. I think I might have lots of tea today. The caffeine-induced twitchiness and weird feeling is quite entertaining...
Edit: Brought an old mp3 CD I'd found whilst clearing up at home into work today, to add to my work music. On it, I found a folder entitled "Chart Music". Okay, I thought, there were a few songs I liked in the last 20 years that made the charts. And yes, there was a random Bjork song that had amused me, a Seal song, and something by Alanis Morrisette. All perfectly reasonable things, and I can see why I'dve kept them around. Then I get to the next track, and see the band name. Backstreet Boys. WTF? a) Why in the 23 Madeup Names of Eris would I have anything by those wastes of genetic material, and b) WHY THE HELL WOULD I ACTUALLY KEEP IT? Suffice to say, that hit the recycle bin faster than you can say, "Having a bad day". Now I'm going to listen to some Nightwish and VNV Nation until I feel better...
