Vampires in search for new blood

The London Vampyre Group
celebrates its 10^th anniversary in 2005, and will be starting the
New Year with a public Promenade of the Vampires in London on Saturday 8^th
January.

Numerous members of the 120-strong
group, in their fangs and full elaborate finery, will be meeting in Trafalgar
Square from 1pm to raise our profile and hopefully gain interest from potential
new members! We will be handing out flyers, posing for photos, selling copies
of our magazine The Chronicles, and answering questions about ourselves, the
group, vampires and any other topics we can!

The London Vampyre Group is an active social group for anyone with an
interest in all things Vampyric (books, films, history and folklore, clothing,
lifestyle etc.) and incorporating the Gothic genre. We do not encourage or promote blood drinking and
do not subscribe to the illusion that vampires are real.

We would welcome any publicity
for this event and hope that you can join us on 8^th January. In the

To my knowledge, not many, if any. Perhaps some cross-pollination might be in order, although most of the group isn't into roleplaying.

They strut around in the dark wearing frocks, paint themselves white and (pretend to) drink blood and you say they aren't into roleplaying?

I would be very scared if they all believed they actually were Vampires and that's exactly the kind of people we don't want in the Cam...

I did kind of assume that the members didn't think themselves to be vampires, otherwise why'd they organise a rally at one o'clock in the afternoon? Unless they're suicida.. okay, I'll stop thinking about this now.
