right, for those of you who are new (people keep adding me to their friends list, I'm not sure why), one of my favourite comics is Two Lumps.

Anyway, if you visit there today (and Friday and next Monday), some poor fool paid money to be abused by the cats that are the main characters of the strip....

Edit: for those who aren't paying attention, incidentally, the poor fool is me...

Because people are weird and like feeling better about themselves. I believe the German word is schadenfreude, although I doubt I spelt it right ;-)

It's alright- he serves the same purpose as the slave in a victorious Roman emperor's chariot. Keeps me humble. But after all, the emperor is still an emperor, and the slave is still a slave...
