6 months in...

Well, as of today, I've been in my current job for 6 months, and it's good so far. Lots of decent perks (particularly the "every Friday afternoon off" one), nice people, and reasonable starting pay. I could see myself staying here a long time, assuming a reasonable rate of pay increase over time.

Anyway, now I should be getting a pay review in the next few days (or whenever they actually remember I'm due one- they sometimes get a bit absent-minded about remembering who works from when...).

And tonight, I get to swing bastard swords and the like around. Yay!

b) Given your proposed behaviour at this Convivium thing, I'd say you're going to be earning as much thwack as you can handle.

I went to a Kali class this week and we got to play with staffs (as well as sticks and knives). I forgot how much fun it can be :)
