I just arranged for my old non-functional car to be collected for scrap tonight. It's odd- I never realised how attached I was to the temperamental old thing until I had to get rid of it (to make room on the drive for the newer one I'm collecting on Saturday). But then, I've always had trouble throwing anything away...

I miss my old car. Even though I really really love my new car, I feel like one of the faceless millions now. My friends could spot me at a disstance, and other Panda owners used to smile as we passed, nobody does that for a Clio :(

Luckily, my old car has gone to a good home with lots of use for another couple of years yet (hopefully).
