Well, just discovered that there's a compnay lunch once a month, which 9 or 10 people (in a rota across the year) get invited on, meaning you end up on about 1 very year. It wa very enjoyable, and I got to eat lots of expensive food at the company expense.

So now, replete and satisfied, I'm struggling to get myself back to work, as opposed to sitting back in my chair and having an impromptu siesta after my nice large meal...

Man, I wish our work had that. But we don't even get breaks, and we are no longer allowed to leave the store to get lunch unless someone else is there. I don't know how that will fare for winter, when you get an 8 hour shift by yourself. I'm quitting soon, needless to say. Retail sucks ass.

Glad it's going so well, and it sounds like the social side may pick up even more (does that make it 4th to 5th or 5th to overdrive?)

I think overdrive is about right. Met so many new people, and made a couple of decent friends already.
