Weekend lowdown...

Well, actually, more like Friday night report, as, for the first time in I don't know how long, my Saturday and Sunday were almost completely empty of anything except lazing around reading and playing computer games. Very restful.

Anyway. Friday evening started off by meeting up with slickchickjen for the Pitchshifter gig. Met a nice friend of hers (plus associated other friends), and it was fun. The gig wasn't really my favourite sort of music, but it was enjoyable, if not amazingly so. The only annoyance was discovering that one of my friends could have saved me the cost of the ticket by getting me in free. Ah well, there's still New Model Army in December...

Afterwards, I headed on to Rock @ The Mean Fiddler, mainly because djrex was guest DJing. It was good fun, and I might well go back there again sometime. Bumped into two_brains, and various other TS forumers. Didn't see childhoods_hour unfortunately, but I'm sure I'll bump into her again sometime.
Something I didn't realise was that djrex was giving away Marilyn Manson promo single CDs (among other things), so I got one of them (managing to avoid getting trampled to death by hordes of drunken metallers all after freebies).

Unfortunately, I couldn't stay for much of djrex's set, as I was feeling knackered. On the other hand, he's DJing at Synthetic Culture this Friday...

On which note, I'd better check and see if anyone is likely to be wanting crash space at mine for this Friday?

Thinking about running a game...

Having got all the Aberrant books, I was thinking of trying to run a game for some of my London-based friends- would probably be a biweekly format, and would be dependent on getting a time and place convenient to all people involved.

So, is there any interest in this? I know two_brains and thessalian (if she can fit it into her insane schedule :-)) have expressed an interest. Anyone else? I'm looking for about 4 or 5 players as a starting number, and we'll see how it goes from there. Additionally, if you know anyone else who might be interested, do point them in this direction.

For those who don't know, by the way, Aberrant is the White Wolf superhero roleplaying game.
