EVE stuff

Sticking to gaming talk- it's nice and safe, and doesn't have unfortunate mental pitfalls.

Finally joined the same corporation as zenmeisterin and sutekh, as well as picking up the nice ship they built for me. Now I'm busy building up skills and cash so I can be of use to said corp. In particular, I'm trying to get the skills and money to buy the biggest Minmatar industrial ship, so I can take part in a corporation mining expedition. I have this lovely mental image of a huge industrial ship escorted by firgates, cruisers and battleships flying through space. I think that's one of the things I like about EVE- the mental images that harken back to the good old days of space scifi, with lumbering behemoths and fast escort vessels and the like.

In other news, there's a delay on hearing about the Covenant leads, as the guy who's in charge of all that has got unreliable net access for the moment.

And finally, my father is going to get an eta on my replacement car tomorrow. With any luck, they'll expedite it.
