Oh my goth...

Well, I wnet to Nottingham this weekend, and it was great! On the way up, the trains were perfect- I arrived at the_faery_queen's house, where she had kindly agreed to put me up (or put up with me, heh). I met her cat Meg, who really likes her fish toy....

Eventually, I also met her friend Steve, who is also cool. We headed on down to the Wake, where I met thefounder, mistresshayley, pvckitten, posercorpse, a nice guy called Alex (I think), someone called Joss, someone who told me their name on the dancefloor, but I couldn't quite make it out. So I'll ask her next Wake, if she's there. I also met a lot of other people who were really friendly (many of whom have livejournals, but I don't know their names). Included the person who was helpful enough to give me directions and hotel details.

And I saw the best mohawk I've seen in well, ever. And there was alchohol, and good music, and people who didn't know me. I didn't know the setlist off by heart, I didn't know who had issues with whom. In short, I had the time of my life, and could concentrate on just chatting and dancing (badly).

Now all I have to do is send them some Nightwish for next time....oh, and wait for next time to actually happen...roll on the end of February.

Hmmm

I'm currently in one of my occasional semi-fugue states where nothing is quite real. I quite like these when I'm at work, because my time-sense goes out the window, and the end of the day arrives really quickly as a result....

Weird thoughts

My current odd mood persists, and something occurs to me. Since I've never remembered my dreams, how do I know I haven't actually dreamed. Maybe I'm dreaming now. In which case I need a better class of dream...
