Oh my goth...

nadrielWell, I wnet to Nottingham this weekend, and it was great! On the way up, the trains were perfect- I arrived at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
the_faery_queen's house, where she had kindly agreed to put me up (or put up with me, heh). I met her cat Meg, who really likes her fish toy....
Eventually, I also met her friend Steve, who is also cool. We headed on down to the Wake, where I metthefounder, mistresshayley, pvckitten, posercorpse, a nice guy called Alex (I think), someone called Joss, someone who told me their name on the dancefloor, but I couldn't quite make it out. So I'll ask her next Wake, if she's there. I also met a lot of other people who were really friendly (many of whom have livejournals, but I don't know their names). Included the person who was helpful enough to give me directions and hotel details.
And I saw the best mohawk I've seen in well, ever. And there was alchohol, and good music, and people who didn't know me. I didn't know the setlist off by heart, I didn't know who had issues with whom. In short, I had the time of my life, and could concentrate on just chatting and dancing (badly).
Now all I have to do is send them some Nightwish for next time....oh, and wait for next time to actually happen...roll on the end of February.
