nadrielWell, yesterday was minor compared to today's little bit of news. My father went to see a specialist about his MS-like symptoms, and, while it is fairly certain he doesn't have MS, the specialist said that he should take early retirement on medical grounds. And also that he'd definitely not be well enough to work by the deadline the diocese has given him to be wrok-ready. And, as a vicar, the house comes with the job. Ergo, no job...
I don't need to complete that sentence. Of course, the church will do its best to help him find somewhere else, but it's still not good.
