Well, tomorrow afternoon, I head over to [livejournal.com profile] uvpaladin's for makeover and bevvies. Should be interesting- and I'm sure there'll be pictures, as I know various friends have cameras that they're bringing to the club that night.

So, for anyone who hasn't been paying attention, tomorrow is the excellent Synthetic Culture, at the Egg Club, King's Cross 10pm-5am.

[livejournal.com profile] matgb will also be there, as he's foolishly decided it's worth crashing at mine to go to the night, so I'll be sure to introduce him to as many people as possible. Hey, if I have to put up with him, I don't see why everyone else should be spared :-P (Although it could be phrased as him having to put up with me- all a matter of perception, you know...)

Saturday I plan to have a quiet day (once I wake up, that is), then on Sunday, we have part two of, "Demons, Past Lives and Oh Shit I Have A Date" in [livejournal.com profile] thessalian's Mage game. And I'm going to get the rest of those gits in the party back, somehow... :-P

Anyway, see you all round the net...

I wonder what it would be like to actually have a cybernetic replacement of a limb or eye or suchlike, as in innummerable Cyberpunk style books.

Well, Bloodlines is ordered, and it requires a directX 9.0 compatible graphics card. I'm not sure my GeForce 4 MX is good enough, so, I was wondering what other PCI graphics cards are out there that would enable me to run something that uses the HL2 engine without trouble. Also, what's PCI Express, and can I use cards with that designation in my PCI slot?

From a friend's slight misspelling, came the inspiration for this one:

Feint of heart- that opening phase in a courtship...
