Book recommendations

A series I've always been very fond of- the Honor Harrignton series by David Weber- it's very good space opera.

The first book in the series is called On Basilisk Station, and there are many more. If you like military sci-fi, I thoroughly recommend this and all the subsequent books in the series.

I was in the break room at work today, and they were showing the start of the Regatta at the Olympics. And, for no reason I could fathom, shortly after the start, the Irish boat was quite clearly seen going the completely opposite direction to everyone else...
