There and back again...
May. 2nd, 2004 11:01 pmWell, I felt a little better on Saturday morning, so I headed on up to my parents. The drive took quite a while, as I had to stop more often than I normally would due to still feeling somewhat sub-par. Anyway, I got there, and rested up for a few hours, before my mother dragged me out to view a flat that she'd found whilst doing a search that morning.
Given that the viewing was arranged for the evening, we didn't hold out much hope that it would still be available when we got there, but went on the offchance. When we got there, it turned out to be a lovely studio flat with a brilliant location- and we were the first to view it. So, I now have my accomodation sorted- 2 minutes from Raynes Park rail station, £550 a month, all bills included (except telephone obviously), and it even has its own parking area for me to put my car. Ideal!!
So, once I've finished sorting the paperwork, I'll finally be completely ready to leave Exeter and its increasingly annoying atmosphere (perhaps it's always been this way, and I just wasn't able to notice bfore.. Oh well.) behind, and head off to London.
Woo!
Anyway, I'm now back in Exeter again, and now face the somewhat arduous task of packing my room. Still, I'm sure I'll find some things I forgot I had- generally seems to be the case in these matters...as does the fact that I'll also likely be able to get rid of a load of things I really don't need anymore.
