Well, back to the grindstone...
Mar. 8th, 2004 12:11 pmHad a really good weekend, despite feeling ill at the start of it. Headed up to London on the Friday, met up with Dave and Mike (Scytale on 3T), the other two server Devs. We spent many long hours chatting about the 3 towns server, scripting, and Bioware's suckage. Also played some 2 player Halo on XBox which was fun.
Saturday I got a lot of sleep, as I wasn't actually up till about midday. This went a long way to helping me recover from my illness completely. In the evening, we wandered around London for a bit, then headed to the Ben Crouch tavern, where we met up with a few of the players on the server, and sat in the corner of the pub geeking out.
Sunday, I headed back to Exeter, went to the last part of the SciFi society convention (MicroCon), where I watched Buckeroo Banzai and the Eighth Dimension (or something like that), which was a little odd, unless of course you're used to stuff like FLCL and other strange anime series'
Later that evening, I played in a very odd BESM game. Then I went home and slept. All in all, quite fun...
