Deep thought time...
Aug. 1st, 2003 10:55 amI haven't been doing very much of my philosophical pondering on here lately, so I thought I'd do a bit now.
It concerns the nature of reality, and perception.
How do we know what is real? All our sense can be decieved, so we could all be living in a completley different world and not realise it. Also, how do I know that the reality I see/hear/etc is the same as the reality that everyone else sees (actually, based on what I read in the papers, I suspect I don't see reality in the same way as most people).
And are insane people really insane? After all, by their perceptions, nothing is amiss (well, depending on the form the insanity takes, but I'm using generalisations here....).
I think that'll do for now...
