Tales from the Crypt
Apr. 29th, 2003 12:08 pmWell, I've got over the post-GenCon comedown, so I'm feeling more able to deal with the mundane world again without going insane. Well, more insane, anyway :-).
I've been thinking about relative and absolute time, recently. Time proceeds at the same pace wherever you are, but your perception of time varies (Hence "hours flying by" and "the day dragged on slowly"). I'd really like to know which part of the brain controls your perception of time- if you could alter it when you wished, boredom would be a thing of the past!
Everything seems to come back to perception, when it comes down to it, which leads me to the other question of: How do I really tell what's real? Can anyone definitively say "This is real"?
Oh well...
