nadrielSo, I'm (mostly) better, and back at work.
Sorry for my extended absence, but I had a singularly unpleasant and virulent flu bug.
Anyway, although it was unpleasant, the enforced rest for a week was nice, and I've decided that, should I ever come in to sufficient money, I will retire from work, and just program for fun and so on, because I am realising how much I hate a rigid schedule.
Hopefully my next job will have flexitime, because then at least I'll be able to vary my schedule to a certain degree. (Hopefully I'll also get better pay as well, but that pretty much goes without saying).
On the livejournal roleplay front, thankyou to those who have submitted actions, I'm still waiting for stuff from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mapp and draxar. I'm still open to new players, and I hope to eventually get to the point where it doesn't matter if someone isn't around, as people will be able to carry on regardless, effectively making it a mini-world rather than a more focussed game.
Other than that, I'm going to see My Ruin tonight- I'm not a big fan really, particularly of their newer stuff, but it'll be nice to get out to a gig for once, so I'm going anyway.
Oh, and I bought the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King PS2 game at the weekend- it's quite tricky, but very fun, and gives me some extra footage of the new film before it's released.
I wanted to get Legacy of Kain: Defiance, but it's not out till at least January, possibly February over here...grrr.
