Extrapolation of a brief conversation a little while ago...
The scene: Fearless Vampire Hunters Convention 2005
In one of the breaks, some of the hunters are discussion their favourite weapons...
Abraham van Helsing: "Ja, I find ze crossbow is the most effective weapon for dealink vis vampires- don't you agree?"
Alucard: "Bwahahaha! The pathetic worms I hunt are not even worthy of being called vampires- I tear them apart bodily, or blow their heads off with high-caliber pistols"
*sudden silence*
Van Helsing: "So, D vas it? Vat about you?"
D: "I still use my father's sword, and fight with honour, despite knowing that one day, I too in turn must face the hunter's blades. But mine is a lonely life..."
*continues on in this vein (pun intended) for some time*
Van Helsing: "Zzzzz...oh! Ah! Ja, und so vat of our newest members? Vat weapon do you favour?"
*pan across to three rather odd looking individuals- one tall Vin Diesel lookalike with tattoos and piercings, one nondescript young man, and the spitting image of Lucius Malfoy from Harry Potter*
*pauses, as they look at each other*
Skank Fetish: "....buildings."
*silence*
Van Helsing: "Vhy do I keep coming to these things...."
