Once again- Babylon 5 to the rescue

Marcus: I used to think it was a terrible thing that life was so unfair. Then I thought,"'what if life were fair, and all of the terrible things that happen to us came because we really deserved them?" Now I take great comfort in the general unfairness and hostility of the universe.

Edit: Oh, and in general, there's an awful lot about the episode "A Late Delivery From Avalon" that appeals to me immensely.

Haha :) Yeah, I love Marcus. His character appeals to me on so many levels that I would *be* him if I could. I always looked up to him and his values when I was younger.
This reminder couldn't have come at a better time for me. Thanks man, I owe you one.
