Well, that's just crushed my good mood from the last few days.

Just finally heard back from the company that I interviewed with. I didn't get the position- apparently, despite being "the most technically gifted candidate" and "having one of the best personalities of all the candidates", I wasn't what they were looking for.

I have started looking into temping, but unfortunately, I'm currently competing with lots of students on their holidays...

Alternately Mike, not sure if you could do syadmining (on the grounds I don't know techie stuff enough) but allezbleu has a post up they're hiring.

I have my reasons for not looking into temping before now, but this was my last job hope for the time being, so temping it is.

Be warned, once I start temping, I'm unlikely to be much fun to be around.

We are looking for an Operations Systems Administrator ( my job, basically ) to come work for Shazam Entertainment. Must have : sysadmin experience, Linux skills, H/w skills. networking, coding a bonus. Lots of WFH. Pays not great but benefits are good including lots of days off and the most laid-back boss evah! oh and they dont give a shit what piercings/hair you have either :)
