Turns out that the upper management aren't too pleased with my progress.
As my supervisor puts it, I was only giving 100%, which is not enough.
Unfortunately, not being omniscient, I didn't know this until my supervisor had a "freindly chat" with me. If he wasn't such a nice guy, I'd be a lot more angry and/or depressed than I am.
So, I've now got 2 weeks to prove that I can in fact work at 150%, and that I can work out which perks don't apply to me because I'm the new guy.
It's not that I mind high goalposts, it's invisible high goalposts that seem to keep changing that get to me...
